The leading cause of building envelope failure is water intrusion. Understanding the requirements for stucco, lath and cladding for waterproofing the building envelope is critical in protecting yourself from construction defect litigation. This seminar will review Florida specific construction techniques and component installation practices to maintain the structural integrity and quality of your work, including principles of moisture migration and bulk transport. Actual photographs of building damage will be used in this dynamic seminar to emphasize proper construction and design practices, including realistic remediation and corrective procedures.
